This Portomaso apartment was designed for a client seeking to launch his rental property and attract a tenant who is looking for that special, sophisticated and elegant space.

The play of light and colour give the apartment a cool and modern feel that instantly transform it into a home. The natural oaks in the open plan continue throughout the apartment and are beautifully combined with the touches of blue that start from the Pianca armchairs in the living room and go on to the bench in the entrance, the velvet material of the chairs as well as the throws and other decorations in the bedrooms.

The kitchen, The Cut designed by Alessandro Isola, was chosen in a natural oak, matte laminate and silver metallic lacquer with black accents. While most of the pieces in the open plan display Pianca’s mastery over wall-systems, sofas and armchairs as well as dining tables and chairs, the rest of the accent furniture and mirrors where chosen from the Calligaris collection for that more playful feel. The special more particular choices, such as the entrance ceramic sideboard by Pianca, the Filigree floor lamp by MOOOI and the Ethimo outdoor furniture, complete the narrative.

God is in the details, and in this 3-bedroom apartment no stone was left unturned – from the handmade blinds by our Belgian designers and carpets by Tessoria Asolana, curtains by Parisien brand Metaphores, to the bedding by Twils and lighting from MOOOI and DCW – everything was curated and chosen for that stylish client with an eye for quality and proportions.
