onepercent, together with the DPM team have been entrusted by Edwards Lowell to realise the private space for Patek Philippe located above the Cartier store on Republic Street, Valletta.

This space was designed in light of the style of this prestigious brand and the furniture was custom-made specifically for the area by our onepercent senior designer, Christian Tonna, who worked closely with both the client and the project managers to accomplish the desired aesthetic.

The presence of solid woods such as bleached natural oak, lacquered oak and walnut detail partnered with copper tones and the bianco carrara marble, create an ambiance fit for elegance. This was done through simple and clean lines for the desks, sofas and chairs that then contrast the curved, well-crafted carpentry of the boiserie.

The timeless shapes of the Poliform sofas and chairs as well as the bespoke desks are juxtaposed by the more classic feel that comes through the iconic DCW lamps, the walnut details against the panels and the curves of the wood paneling. This beautifully constructed boiserie, is made in the Bassano province of Italy and is representative of the classic Italian artisan who uses only the most traditional techniques and natural materials to create his work.
